Single Day Programs
Camp Harrison offers interactive and experiential single day programs for students to supplement their classroom experience. Areas of exploration include: Water Science: Water Quality, Wetland Ecology, and Aquatic Animals
Forest Ecology: Animals and the Environment, Wonderful Trees, and Soil Study
People and the Land: Living on the Land: A Step Back in Time, Growing Gold, and Resource Rescue
Adventure Activities: Climbing Wall, Canoeing, Hiking, Mountain Biking and Target Sports
Research Science: Middle and High school students conduct several research projects. These projects may include soil, air and water quality studies, as well as butterfly monitoring in fall and amphibian and reptile monitoring in spring. Students have the opportunity to get involved in these research studies while learning valuable science skills.
