Single Day Programs
Camp Harrison offers interactive and experiential single day programs for students to supplement their classroom experience. Areas of exploration include:
Water Ecology: Water Quality Studies, Wetland Functions, and Aquatic Animals
Forest Ecology: All about Animals, Tree Discovery and Food Webs
People and the Land: Live the Early 1800s, Gardening and Agriculture, Sustainable Use of our Resources
Research Science: Middle and High school students conduct several research projects. These projects may include soil, air and water quality studies, as well as butterfly monitoring in fall and amphibian and reptile monitoring in spring. Students have the opportunity to get involved in these research studies while learning valuable science skills. Ask us how your class can come for free.
We also offer Adventure Activities such as the climbing wall, high ropes course, water/land zip lines, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, teambuilding, low ropes and orienteering.
