 Join fellow Harris YMCA Afterschool families for Family Camp at beautiful Camp Harrison at Herring Ridge located in Boomer, N.C. (approx. 2 hours from Charlotte). This event will be held the weekend of May 27-29, 2011.
YMCA Family Camp gives you the time and the setting to build the most important relationships in your life – your family! Camp Harrison's energetic staff will provide activities, delicious meals, evening events and time for you to relax and enjoy our beautiful environment.
Haven't camped before? No worries! Family Camp is a wonderful introduction to camping. Camp Harrison has air-conditioned, heated cabins each with their own showers, bathrooms and water fountains. Cabins sleep up to 14 people, bunk-style (dads and sons with other males; moms and daughters with other females).
Check-in will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday night. The weekend festivities begin at 7:00 PM. Please arrive at camp having already eaten dinner. The weekend will conclude after lunch on Sunday. Can't wait to see you there!
The event cost is $50 for adults (18 and older), $25 for children ages 7-17 and free for children 6 and under. This camp is for Harris YMCA Afterschool members only.
