• Ride trails, hike and explore lakes and creeks.

Work the farm and ranch:

• Learn about hoof care for horses. A farrier, a specialist in equine hoof care, will shoe the horses and show ranchers how to shoe horses as well.
• Complete daily chores and pasture cleanup.
• Prepare the gardens, pick crops for meals and help harvest apples from the orchard.
• Gather eggs from the hen house and deliver to kitchen.
• Throw and stack hay for animals.
• Learn about good health for animals and our bodies.

Ride horses:

• Take daily short and long rides.
• Practice ring work with riding instruction.
• Go out on trails, cross creeks and have picnics on the mountaintop.
• Play games on and off horseback.
• Experience night rides and swim the horses.
