Farm to Feast Adventure
Launching in 2012, campers in this program will learn the value and satisfaction of hard work by getting their hands dirty in our organic garden, working the farm and in the kitchen. By taking part in farm-to-table practices for food preparation they will learn a respect for the land.
Campers aged 8-16 will till the garden, harvest vegetables, gather eggs, pick apples and make fresh squeezed lemonade. They will work with our chef to prepare dinner for the entire camp and learn basics of knife skills, measurement, and cooking techniques. This hands on experience is a great introduction to the world of culinary arts.
