What's New for 2012?
Our Sportsman Adventure will teach campers the basics of fishing and hunting techniques. This program will introduce children aged 8-16 to the core skills, safety techniques and confidence needed to enjoy these sports for a lifetime. Students will learn fishing and hunting techniques every morning and every afternoon get the opportunity to participate in traditional camp water activities.
Camp Harrison's Farm to Feast adventure will teach campers the value and satisfaction of hard work by getting their hands dirty in our garden, working the farm and in the kitchen. By taking part in farm-to-table practices for food preparation they will learn a respect for the land.
With our Beyond the Ridge, teen adventure and leadership program, campers will learn key leadership and wilderness skills, learn to foster a respect for the environment, build strong self confidence, become an open minded team player, and become closer to God.
We know that sending your child off to camp for the first time is a big decision through our Mom & Me half week session we make that easier. This introduction to camp allows younger campers to experience all that Camp Harrison has to offer while still having the security and support of you next to them.
