Choose Your Adventure Track

Through our adventure tracks each camper can create their own personalized experience. Every camper will choose an adventure track- Campers will spend the morning in their track and spend the afternoon with the entire camp enjoying lake front and water activities including: kayaking, canoeing, water zip line, waterskiing, the "Blob" and the "Wet Willie". Campers from every track will get the opportunity to come together as a camp community for meals, cabin activities and campfires.

Traditional Camp Harrison Through traditional camp a variety of land activities are offered: ropes course, sports, team paintball, and crafts. Traditional resident camp activities provide adventure as vast as the great outdoors!

Mom & Me We know that sending your child off for the first time to resident camp by themselves is a big decision. To make that decision and transition easier we are launching in 2012 an introductory Mom & Me camping program designed for moms and their children age 5-10.

Dude Ranch By caring for animals and fulfilling ranch responsibilities at our Dude Ranch, campers discover that they have the power to create positive change in their world. By taking part in farm chores, campers learn the value and satisfaction of hard work. With horses, goats, chickens, and a pig there is sure to be a new adventure everyday!

Vet Camp The Vet Camp is programmed and operated by a group of equine professionals. Experienced teen riders will participate in actual administration of medicines, perform exams, learn about first aid, general health assessments and anatomy.

Sportsman Camp Campers will learn the basics of fishing and hunting techniques at their private lake front base camp in the woods. As the sun rises they will cross the lake to begin their outdoor adventures. Specialized counselors will lead small groups of campers through the rifle range, clay target shooting, archer, open water fly fishing, fresh water bass fishing and more!

Farm to Feast Farm to Feast will teach campers who are passionate about cooking the value and satisfaction of hard work by harvesting our organic garden and working in the kitchen. They will take part in farm-to-table practices for food preparation, nutritional information and meal planning while learning culinary skills from Chefs and counselors.

Teen Adventure: Beyond the Ridge BTR is more than just camping in the woods, cooking meals on an open fire and sleeping among the trees. It's learning to experience life with other teens and figure out how to navigate through life's true tests. Teens are pushed to the limit on our ridge where they will learn how to be a leader through the obstacles of life while growing in spirit, mind, and body. Bottom line...BTR is just plain cool.

Teen Leadership: Counselor in Training Our CIT program is geared towards learning the leadership and supervisory skills it takes to be a future part of the Camp Harrison Counselor Staff. Through interaction in our cabins, leading devotions, team building projects, and teaching activities, these 16-17 year olds get hands on experience on what it means to be a leader at Camp.
